Carry On Tradition

The Good King Justice honorably known as Evan Taylor was raised in south Houston, Texas in the historical Third Ward neighborhood between the streets of Blodgett and Macgregor. This Black community was the foundation for the Good King’s journey into Black Liberation. As a life long Texan he received knowledge of self as a Five percenter while studying political science at Txst university in San Marcos. Knowing the history of this country as it pertains to Black Americans The Good King has chosen to continue the works of Martin Delany, Malcolm X, The Founders of Republic of New Africa, Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad and all The Black Nationalist that were proponents  of nationhood for Black/African Americans. Once again, its NATION TIME.

 Introduction

Do the knowledge. The year is 2050 and our country has just cleaned up at the Olympics bringing home various gold medals in boxing, gymnastics, fencing, basketball, swimming, track and water polo. Still losing the long distance runs to our african brothers from Kenya but hey we can’t win them all. We have the world's leading scientists and doctors making strides in the health industry, providing us with clean water and solar energy. We are importing and exporting goods to and from Africa as well as South America and Asia. Europe is finally coming to terms that we are free and will be a world power. They are also now asking to engage in foreign trade relations with us. Our metro rail from Florida to Texas stops in every state allowing our people easy access to their family, friends and business partners in every section of our country. Our country has the world's leading medical industry distributing cures for aids, diabetes and cancer worldwide to those in need. The many nations on the continent of Africa such as Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, South Sudan, and others are becoming our first, and greatest allies gradually being united as one powerful continent through putting real Pan-Africanism into practice. This is Black Nationalism. Black Nationalism says that we need Black politicians,Black scientists, Black educators, Black artists, Black doctors, Black cultural leaders, Black theologians, Black nurses, Black custodians, Black farmers, Black athletes, Black coaches, Black soldiers, Black stock brokers and Black financial advisors. All who personify black nationalism and are ambassadors for a Black nation everyday that they step out of their door into the world. Black nationalism is not a hate teaching. In truth it is really a love teaching. Black nationalism is the highest form of self preservation when it comes to our plight and the supreme expression of knowledge of self. To self-govern is not to be a hater of others, it’s to ensure that the atrocities we have faced at the hands of America never happen again.  Black nationalism teaches Black people to organize amongst each other, to spend time with one another,to circulate our dollar amongst our own, to love and respect one another while working towards true freedom for ourselves and our future generations. That has nothing to do with hating anyone else. White people from the lowest levels of society to the highest levels know and understand that they, no matter their field or profession, represent white America in their everyday life. This is why they proudly place the American flag on their cars, homes and lawns to show their allegiance to the country their forefathers stole and built on the backs of others. Even whites who don’t acknowledge that they are part of white america still take advantage of the white privilege they are given each and every day in this nation. A nation of our own produces people of our own who represent us as Blacks to the world. Right now everything we currently win is marked as an accomplishment of America, the place our ancestors were bought and sold like cattle to work the lands while reaping no benefits. Still to this day America has not fulfilled her promise and obligation of 40 acres and the modern day equivalent of a mule to Black people whose ancestors toiled day and night on southern plantations to build this nation to be what it is and what it has grown to be in the last 400 years. America has not made good on this promise because we as Black people have not made her do such. In order to make others concede to power in politics a people must have leverage. Without leverage no demands need to be met by those in power as the people demanding have no true power to fight with. Our unification is our power and the label of Black is our biggest unifier. It’s the only term that encompasses all of our people while excluding none of our people. Its power is not based on religion or emotion but in fact. A person who’s blood is majority of african descent is Black. Even people with white fathers and black mothers are often accepted as Black. Ask Bob Marley or Jerry Rawlings. On the flip side People with Black fathers and white mothers are also seen as Black ask Barack Obama ( even though Obama clearly didn’t have our elevation on his mind while in office). We have accepted those with one Black parent as our own for centuries and although I truly feel they don’t have the same experience as a Black person with two Black parents they are still part of us. We have Hispanics and Latinos that have majority African blood. Many Cubans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans and others whose ancestors were slaves in the Caribbean are black. We have Black Mexicans, ones who fled slavery in the US for a more southern land with flexible laws on color during the 1800s. They are now disenfranchised in Mexico also due to their Blackness. Many people that the world sees as “mixed-race” today are black, Whether they acknowledge it or not. Even if they don’t think Black, Barack Obama was a prime example. Black people are the minority in America but the majority everywhere else in the world. We can only be respected properly and have the allies we need world wide when we stand up, unify and face our problems here at home in America. Our biggest problem is our lack of unity, which hinders us from becoming an independent nation , not quasi unity that looks like us singing in a circle about how we will overcome or marching hand in hand with each other but that real unity. Political unity with a destination and goal in mind. Black nationalism is the cure to all our woes in America and world wide. First we must come together with a common goal and destination. The goal should be the creation of our own nation and country. Unite with your forty plus million Black counterparts in America and build a nation for self. We have nothing to lose. As far as Black and white relations go, keep your white friend… if you have any. Although I would like everyone who claims they have white friends to ask them how they feel about slavery, Black Americans getting reparations and just the overall issues we face as a people on the daily. Their response may be the end of the relationship or a true testament to your friendship. We as Black Americans must realize that white Americans for the most part don’t discuss their politics or what they do as a group with us. Neither do Hispanics. Nor does the Asian community. We can party with each other, do business or whatever else we would like to do with one another socially, but we are different people and have different cultures and agendas. The sooner we realize this fact the sooner we will be free. Embrace Black Nationalism and us having a nation of our own.
